Christmas Mixed Media Workshop.

What to Expect:
1. Select one image: cowboy hat, surfboard or cowboy boot.
2. I'll walk you through transferring the image to watercolor paper, choosing elements to cut out, and collage options for creating a unique, custom artwork for Christmas.
You have the choice between 9x12 or 7x5 inch Arches watercolor paper for your work. Matte included. Option to add frame for additional charge.

Photo Painting Workshop.

What to Expect:
1. Select 3-5 of your favorite personal photos that you'd love to see as a painting, scan and email to me by 12.21.24
2. I'll review and discuss which photos are best options and why. You'll select one.
3. The selected photo will be professionally re-printed on canvas (8x10) and ready to paint. I'll demonstrate techniques and strategies I use to create what I call, "photo paintings".

Process Art Workshop for Practitioners

This workshop is geared toward practitioners in the healing professions who want to build their practical and creative toolbox. We'll get familiar with 3 process art/ art therapy directives to implement with clients by learning:
1. Who to use the directive with & why
2. Logistics: materials & time
3. Complete the directives, leave with 3 examples & typed prompts to take home.
About me
My name is Sydney and I make art that makes me smile, ponder, and reminisce. I hope it brings the same to you.
I like to be outside, be creative, and be with people and creatures I love. The content of my art generally involves the sea, the wild West, food, drink and family time. I use water color, collage from wrapping paper & magazines, acrylic & oil paint predominantly. I dabble in textiles and any random materials that strike my interest. I’m curious and like exploring different techniques and there isn’t a creative problem I won’t try to solve.
